Their tip: Arrive before midday to see the school in full swing. Also once you have parked teh car up the hill (parking is free there) you can walk across the bridge to the rum factory and walk all the way around the sea promenade to the other side. Some great views.

Their tip: Great family day out at this beach. Lots of little food vans dotted around too so easy to pick up drinks and lunch

Their tip: This was taken sitting in Praia Fermosa restaurant. Its of one of the there catamarans that leave from Funchal Bay. Park in the main car park and have coins with you.
SantanaSeptember 2026
Their tip: This is the view from Quinta Do Furao. The hotel has a great bar and restaurant if you just fancy popping in for lunch. Also it has a Santana house all made up properly and not like the ones in Santana that are more touristic.
