Seen by people who care
A week after you fly home your friends have stopped scrolling. Someone planning your exact trip has not.
YOUR HOLIDAY. YOUR PHOTOS. OUR MADEIRA.
Madeira, photographed by the people who walked it.
You don't need to be a photographer. If you walked it, swam it, ate it or just sat looking at it, someone planning their trip wants to see it.
Your photos. Your copyright. Always credited.
We're opening The Madeira Collective to anyone who's been here and has photos worth more than a phone album nobody scrolls. Walks, towns, a good lunch, the view from your balcony. Add yours and they go on the pages people read before they come.
Add your photosNot sure what to share?
These are only suggestions. Any photo you took on Madeira or Porto Santo is welcome, tunnels, waterfalls, roads, a view from a car park, places we don't cover yet.
7 ideas
North · Coast & villages
A village street, the seafront in ordinary weather, the view from a café or how the coast looks when the swell is up.
Mountains · Walks & nature
The path as it really looked on your visit, especially in cloud or rain. A trail sign or a useful junction helps too.
East · Beaches & towns
The beach on a normal day, the promenade, places to eat nearby or a detail that helped you find your way.
South · Coast & villages
Beach access, a swim spot, a neighbourhood street or an honest view from where you stayed.
West · Towns & viewpoints
The road, a viewpoint, a small village stop or the pools in the conditions you found them.
South · Food & everyday life
A good lunch, a bus stop, a market detail, a quiet street or the view from your favourite table.
Porto Santo · Island life
A walk, village, beach access point or practical detail that helps someone plan a day on the smaller island.
Anything on the islands
A tunnel, a waterfall, a road, a hidden viewpoint, even somewhere we don't have a page for. Tell us roughly where and we'll look at every photo.

Every photo carries your credit and links back to your profile, for as long as it is published.
Your page collects everywhere you've been on the island. Send it to whoever you like, whenever you like.
Real places. Real people. A richer Madeira.

Captured by @mikmakmcMore than a place, a shared perspective
Anywhere on the island, in any weather. Honest beats polished, fog, rain, a full car park and a closed path are all more useful than a perfect blue sky. Just needs to be your own photo.
A person looks at every photo before it goes up, usually within a few days, and we'll email you either way.
You keep the copyright. We publish them here with your credit on them, and you can ask us to take any of them down whenever you like.
The details, in plain EnglishNo, this isn't that. You get the credit, your own page, and your photos being genuinely useful to someone.
They're probably better than you think, and useful matters more than beautiful. A clear photo of a confusing junction beats a perfect sunset.
No. Your profile picture can be any photo of yours, a view works nicely.
Especially yes.
Give them somewhere to be useful.
