About The Ritz Café
The Ritz Café sits in Funchal and serves portuguese, cafe and international food at mid-range prices
Start with the afternoon tea on the terrace: it is the reason people come back.
The Ritz also hosts weddings and private celebrations, we photographed a wedding party here in September 2026, with champagne at the door, the wedding car pulling up on the mosaic pavement outside and the cake served in the upstairs room.
Every Saturday night the upstairs restaurant becomes a dinner dance: the Sian Lesley Cabaret Dinner Show pairs a three-course meal (wines, beer or soft drinks included until dessert) with a glittering cabaret performance and dancing until late. Sian Lesley began her career at the Moulin Rouge and the Lido de Paris. Tickets are €68 per person. Booking essential, see our Sian Lesley Cabaret Dinner Show event page for details.
