Things to know
- Pairs nicely with a one-way cable car: bus up, cable car down (or vice versa).
- Sundays drops to hourly; check the last bus down if you stay for dinner in Monte.
- Older guides list line 8 for Monte — that's wrong. Line 8 goes to Santa Quitéria / Barreiros, not Monte.
