Biathle & Triathle World Championships 2026, Funchal takes place 26 October 2026 to 1 November 2026 at Centro Náutico de São Lázaro, Funchal, Madeira.

Funchal hosts the UIPM Biathle, Triathle and Laser Run World Championships from 26 October to 1 November 2026, with more than 1,400 athletes from 50 countries racing at the Centro Náutico de São Lázaro. Biathle is a run and an open-water swim in one continuous race; triathle adds laser shooting. Swimmers dive straight into Funchal harbour, runners loop the quayside, and every age group from under-9s to masters chases its own world title, plus para races. Racing starts at 08:00 each day and the mixed relays go off in the afternoon. Watching is free from the quayside, an easy flat walk along Avenida do Mar from the marina or the Old Town. Organised by the Associação Regional de Triatlo da Madeira and the Federação Portuguesa de Pentatlo Moderno.
