About As Galerias Café

The menu runs from tostas de galinha, atum, vegetariana, bacon, bacon and mozzarella, ham and cheese, cheese or ham on homemade bread, a buttered torrada and a mixed fruit salad, to batidos (smoothies) of strawberry, papaya, mango, pineapple, melon, kiwi, a three-in-one orange and carrot, and a seasonal mix. Coffee is cheap: a small bica for 80 cents, a large coffee or tea for €1.

The gallery is one big modernised interior: wood-slat walls, light tiled floors, wide staircases linking the floors and a big digital screen by the entrance. The café sits on the ground floor behind a black marble counter, with a lit fruit display and the As Galerias Café sign in gold on the dark wall behind.
